The staff is on Island Time. The food is made from scratch when you order it. That means if you are in a hurry, this may not be the place to go. You don’t have to dress up. It is a great spot for dates, friends and good conversation. There is indoor and outdoor seating. If you have special diet needs – no worries. Make sure to check the blackboard out for fish selections and daily specials. A couple can expect to spend $70 plus on dinner – not including tip or a bottle of wine. Worth every penny! You can bring your catch of the day for Chef to prepare.

Executive Chef Nick Mackrizz is the reigning King of Texas State Aquarium’s Seafood Wars: Seafood Wars promotes healthy oceans and plentiful seafood for the future by focusing on sustainably harvested and farm-raised fish and shellfish from the Gulf of Mexico.

At each event, three chefs prepare the night’s featured selection while guests are treated to a conversation with regional fisheries experts. When the talk is over and the chefs are ready, guests sample all three dishes and vote on the evening’s best chef. Winners are invited back for a year-end Challenge of the Champions.
